Meet our founder
With a family-owned CPA firm and a CPA for a father, accounting was in Hassaan’s blood. He started his career at PwC after graduation, where he earned his CPA and managed clients ranging from small businesses to large corporations, and discovered how much he loved solving their accounting and tax problems.
After eight years at PwC, most recently as a Manager in New York, Hassaan left in March 2017 to start Catching Numbers. He realized his experience could be put to work for business owners directly, and that solving their problems was something he could do for the rest of his life.
Since then the firm has grown steadily. Today we support around 150 active clients on QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and newer AI-native platforms, with work spanning bookkeeping, month-end close, controller-level advisory and tax-ready books for each client’s tax CPA. Hassaan is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor at the Elite tier.
He’s always looking for new ways to use technology to make bookkeeping easier for both our team and our clients, and to give business owners quick, up-to-date information.
When he’s not working, Hassaan loves to travel, play billiards or just relax in the mountains. He hates hiking, though!
